Being an Advocate for Education

When taking to legislators, focus your advocacy efforts on the following priorities as it relates to PK-12 Education:

• Advocating for allowable growth
• Fully funding any educational reform initiatives
• Full funding through the general state aid formula - not new categorical funds.
• Adopting and fully funding assessments that measure the full range and rigor of the Common Core
• Not repurposing current education funding
