The school calendar during the month of December is filled with many events that support the spirit of the holiday season. The winter concerts at the elementary level provide a special evening of entertainment for parents, grandparents, and family members while great excitement for the elementary students. The Atkins Center holiday program is tonight and there will be two programs at the Norway Center on December 13th. The high school music programs also have some wonderful programs during this season including the Madrigal this Saturday evening, the cathedral concert on December 15th, and the high school band and JAVA event on December 20th. Please consider supporting Benton students and enjoying some special school event opportunities.
Congratulations to the Lady Bobcat basketball team for their big win against #1 ranked Williamsburg on Tuesday evening! The Bobcats are currently ranked #3 in Class 3A. The boys and girls play Vinton-Shellsburg on December 13th. Go Bobcats!
