Parent Teacher Conferences
Yesterday was the first day of fall parent-teacher conferences at the elementary level. It was great to see a wonderful turn-out at all of our elementary centers across the district despite the cold and wet weather conditions. As a school district we value the important roles of parents and guardians in the educational success of students. One of the significant variables to a child's success in school is the network of support that takes place when the child is not in school. We also recognize the work of our classroom teachers and recognize that the skills of the teacher has a high correlation to the educational experience that students receive. It is important that we not lose site of the value of this important partnership - the skilll of the teacher and the support of the parent. Thanks to our parents at Benton Community for your great support of our school district!
