The district periodically receives inquiries from parents regarding electronic notifications. Benton Community uses 2 services for this purpose: 1) School Reach and 2) Iowa School Alerts. School Reach is a web-based service directly linked to the Power School student management system and content is controlled by the school district.
Iowa School Alerts is a free email notification service provided by the State of Iowa for school district notification purposes. This is a subscription based service that parents/patrons need to sign up for. We have a link on the Benton Community Website home page for this purpose. If you make changes to your email address at any time you must go into the settings and make the necessary changes. The link to access this subscription is below:

Likewise, if you change any of your address or email information at any time the school district must be made aware of these changes in order for the School Reach notification system to work correctly for you. Thank you.
