The remodeling and renovation work in the auditorium and fine arts wing has begun in earnest. By the end of the day all of the old orange chairs had been removed from the aud and the existing sound booth leveled. In addition, some signficant demo work has taken place in the hallway area leading to the vocal and instrumental classrooms. It was interesting to see some chairs kept back upon request so that the memories of the "old" auditorium can be preserved.
While we greatly enjoyed many special events over the past 30 years in the auditorium, we look forward to a new look, new sound and lighting, and a great environment for Benton fine arts programs and school activities. Go Bobcats!
