Benton Design Team to Meet

The Benton CSD will be participating in an AEA 10 school districts initiative in support of transforming public schools in ways to assure that students are prepared for college, career ready, and community involved. Several school districts have appointed design teams that will be responsible for developing an action plan focused on innovation and personalizing the school experience for students. The committee will meet for the first time on Wednesday evening and their work will continue through January 2013. Members of the design team for Benton Community include: Dan Voss, Roy Becker, Liz Strempke, James Bieschke, Sherrie Collins, Andrea Townsley, Mark Kenny, Melisa Venneman, Kathy Koehn, Jason West, and Gary Zittergruen. The workshops will follow an implementation model addresses in the book "Schools Cannot Do It Alone".
