After school today I had the privilege of driving four Benton seniors to the All-State Music Festival in Ames. Congratulations to Alicia Gage, Emily Lange, Keith White, and Thomas Zittergruen on their selection to the all-state chorus. They will perform on Saturday evening in Hilton at 7:30 p.m.

On the Road
It has been a very busy day of travel. This morning I drove to Des Moines to attend the Iowa Association of School Boards conference. There were several excellent sessions for board members and administrators. I want to thank Wayne Reinhardt for attending the conference today and Roy Becker on Wednesday.
