Grant Wood AEA invites you to attend and participate in a dialogue related to the Iowa’s Education Blueprint. The Education Dialogue is scheduled for December 13 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Grant Wood AEA, 4401 Sixth Street S.W., Cedar Rapids. The goal of the Education Dialogue is for citizens within Grant Wood AEA to have an opportunity to interact and provide feedback to members of the Iowa Legislature related to the Iowa’s Education Blueprint.
The format for the Education Dialogue will be:
I. Overview and Setting the Context for Iowa’s Education Blueprint.
II. Review Format for Dialogue Sessions
a) Each state Legislator (Senator and Representative) will be at a table for a conversation with constituents.
b) A Grant Wood AEA staff person will be present at each table to ensure that each participant has an opportunity to provide feedback on the three sections of the Education Blueprint. The sections are: 1. Great Teachers and Principals, 2. High Expectations, and 3. Innovation in Education.
