Power School App

Power School, used to access your child’s grades and attendance record, is now available as an app on your smart phone or other devices. Once you log in to Power School on your computer, scroll down to the lower left corner. There you will find the school’s access code. On your smart phone or device, you can then go to your app store and search Power School. It will look like this:





Once the app has downloaded, you will need to enter the school’s access code and then you can then log in to your Power School account. You may set up notifications to get alerts like a change in grade, an absence, or new assignment. As with any app, sometimes the notifications work and sometimes they don’t. If the notifications don’t appear on your screen as an alert, you can see them by logging in to the app. You will see the numbers in the red box next to grades, assignments or absences if there has been a change. Then, by clicking on each category for each child, you can see any updates. Any changes will be highlighted, for example, a new assignment will be highlighted in the list. Or a grade will have an up or down arrow if there has been a change.

This app is free in both the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Please understand that this app is not operated by Benton Community, so any issues with the app not working will need to be addressed with the app store of choice and not the school. 

This app provides a "real time" opportunity to monitor your child's academic progress at school.  Please be mindful that assignments may be added and changed based on the time available for teachers to enter information into Power School.
