The Lady Bobcat Softball team will play in the Class 3A Region 6 semi-final on Friday, July 8th at 7:00 p.m. in Van Horne. The Lady Cats will host Union in this contest. The winner of this game will play in a regional final on Monday, July 11th at the site of the highest remaining seed. Beckman Catholic and New Hampton play in the other semi-final game. Benton will host the regional final game if victorious on Friday evening.
The Bobcat Baseball team will play in a Class 3A District 7 first round game on Friday, July 15th at 7:00 p.m. in Vinton. The Bobcats will play the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings. The winner of this game will play in a district final on Monday, July 18th at Vinton starting at 7:00 p.m. Marion and CPU play in the other first round district game. The sub-state game would be played on Wednesday, July 20th at a site to be determined based on district results.
