The Benton Community Board of Education approved the following calendar modification recommendation based on school being closed on February 2-3. The last day of school is now scheduled for Friday, May 27th with a 1:00 p.m. dismiss with Thursday, May 26th being a regular school day.
At this point the district does not plan to make-up the 2nd day school was missed as an instructional day for students since it would create a one day instructional week following Memorial Day. That is subject to change based on any additional days school may be closed prior to the end of the school year.
