Congratulations to the 1st Street Edition Jazz Ensemble at Benton Community on earning a Division I rating at State Contest in Vinton on Monday evening. It was the first Division I rating by a Benton Jazz Band in 6 years and only the 3rd one in the last 29 years of participation at state contest. This is a significant accomplishment for the students and Dr. Williamson. Thank you for the great effort and outstanding performance!
