Benton Community is hosting our first ever EdCamp for other schools to join us in our learning journey! This invite is open to anyone interested in teacher leadership in and outside of Benton Community Schools. Our vision is to have a Teacher Leadership focus, however, this is NOT only limited to educators who are in teacher leadership positions. We have confirmed that Ryan Wise, Deputy Director at the Iowa Department of Education, will provide us with a welcome to the event.
Benton Community is in planning for its second year of implementation of teacher leadership through Iowa's Teacher Leadership and Compensation Grant. We have a lot to share, but we also know there are others out there who can contribute to allow us to learn, share, and grow together!
