On Saturday, January 11th, Benton Community will host the annual Bobcat "Jerry Eckenrod" Invitational. This will be the 40th annual invitational hosted by the Bobcats and the tournament is named in honor of long-time wrestling coach and teacher Jerry Eckenrod.
This invitational is one of the premiere wrestling events of the year and will include a number of state caliber teams and individual competitors. Sixteen teams are scheduled to compete throughout the day including varsity and junior varsity competition. Please consider a trip to the MS/HS gym on Saturday to support the Bobcats and enjoy some exciting wrestling. Go Bobcats!
