The Benton Community Board of Education approved modifications to the 2013-14 School Calendar at the regular board meeting on June 19th. The following changes were made to the calendar originally approved in February 2013:
1. August 21st: Classes will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. on this date. Benton employees will be participating in ALICE Training at the MS/HS starting at 1:00 p.m.
2. May 7th: Now a regular school day. Senior Awards Program to be held at 1:30 p.m. in MS/HS Auditorium.
3. May 14th: Classes will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m. for PK-12 Professional Development.
