NHS Induction Dinner Recognizes Student Leaders

The Benton Community Chapter of the National Honor Society held their formal induction dinner and program on Monday, March 11th at the MS/HS.  It was a wonderful evening to celebrate the valuable contributions of student leaders at Benton Community.

The National Honor Society of Secondary Schools was founded by the National Association of Secondary School Principals in 1921.  The founders established the National Honor Society in order to recognize high scholarship, purposeful service and worthy character and leadership of students in the secondary schools in the United States.  Membership in the National Honor Society has become recognized nationally as one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a high school student.
