The Benton Community School District has received the final report of findings for the Comprehensive School Improvement Site Visit conducted on January 29-31, 2013. The report is based upon a variety of interviews conducted with district staff and stakeholder groups during the visit and the review of documents submitted to the Iowa Department of Education as well as on site.
The DE Site Visit is designed to provide a general assessment of educational practices within the district, make recommendations for improvement, and determine compliance with state accreditation standards and applicable federal program requirements. The Benton Community Board of Education was provided a brief overview of these findings at the regular monthly board meeting on February 20th.
