Congratulations to the Lady Bobcat Basketball team on qualifying for the State Tournament with an impressive performance against Fairfield on Tuesday evening at Iowa Valley High School. It was also great to see such a supportive crowd in attendance for this special night. The Lady Bobcats will be making their third consecutive trip to the State tournament which is quite an accomplishment for the basketball program.
The Lady Cats will play on Tuesday, February 26th against Harlan with the game time scheduled for 6:45 p.m. If you are interested in a state tournament t-shirt orders are being taken through noon on Thursday. The tentative plan is for tickets to be availalbe for sale at the high school as well as an opportunity to sign up for a student pep bus on Friday, February 22nd and Monday, February 25th. More information regarding plans for the state tournament will be provided as details are developed.
