Happy New Year and welcome back for the second half of the school year in 2013. Classes resume at Benton Community on Thursday, January 3rd. It has been a longer than planned for holiday break due to the first storm of the winter season on December 20-21.
We do want to announce one schedule change due to cancellations prior to the break. The 9-12 Winter band concert and Holiday JAVA will be held at the MS/HS Auditorium on Monday, January 7th starting at 6:30 p.m. In addition, the 2nd Term of the school year is still scheduled to conclude on Friday, January 11th. There is a scheduled 1:00 p.m. dismiss on this day for grade reporting and preparation for 2nd semester classes.
