Benton Board of Education Special Meeting and Work Session

The Benton Community Board of Education will hold a special board meeting this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. to address issues related to the roofing system at the MS/HS.  Following the special board meeting, the Board of Education will be hosting an Iowa Association of School Boards Region #6 Meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. Board members in attendance will receive information regarding tips and tools for legislative and congressional advocacy, as well as an update on the Governor's education reform platform. The regional meetings also provide an opportunity for board members to network and for the Benton Community Board of Education to showcase the MS/HS facility.
