Congratulations to the Bobcat baseball team on winning the District championship at Vinton last evening. The Bobcats have had an outstanding season and moved their record to 33-7 with the victory. The Bobcats will face the Marion Indians on Wednesday evening in Vinton starting at 7:00 p.m. with the winner advancing to the State Tournament in Des Moines. As a result of the sub-state game on Wednesday, the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education will begin at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Central Administration Office.
