The Benton Bobcats have experienced a very successful fall season with sport activities! On Wednesday evening, the Lady Bobcat volleyball team will travel to Mt. Vernon to play the Mustangs in a first round regional match in Class 3A starting at 7:00 p.m. The Bobcat cross country teams will travel to Pella on Thursday for one of the state qualifying meets in Class 3A with competition beginning at 4:00 p.m. The Bobcat football team will take a 7-1 record into their final regular season game on Friday evening hosting Vinton-Shellsburg in a district contest. A Bobcat win will put them in a great position for a playoff berth in Class 2A with the football playoffs starting on Friday, October 26th.
