The trail to the State Softball Tournament begins tonight in Class 4A with first round games. In Region 4, Western Dubuque plays Decorah and Independence plays Wahlert. Benton Community will play the winner of the WD and Decorah game on Saturday evening in Van Horne starting at 7:00 p.m. Charles City will play the winner of the Indy and Wahlert game on Saturday as well. The regional final is scheduled for Tuesday, July 11th at the site of the highest remaining ranked team.
