School Board Elections - Tuesday, September 8th

School Board Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, September 8th and the polls will be open in five director districts in Benton Community from Noon until 8:00 p.m. Every school district in Iowa will hold a school board election that day. School Board elections are important because the Board sets the school vision and provide governance for the school district. Eligible voters in the Benton Community School District may vote only at locations within their director district.

There are five open positions and the following individuals are running unopposed in the five director districts listed:

Director District 1 (Newhall) Roy Becker

Director District 2 (Van Horne) Theresa Thompson

Director District 3 (Atkins) Matt Nolte

Director District 5 (Norway) Theresa Ludeking (2 year term)

Director District 7 (Keystone/Elberon) Shannon Feuerbach
