There is NO SCHOOL at Benton Community today as the professional staff is spending a day of learning on common formative assessment work at GWAEA in Cedar Rapids. The collaborative learning and data teams that have been organized in the district will be working on analyzing and prioritizing instructional needs, discussing strategies used, working on developing learning targets based on standards, and developing proficiency scales connected to the learning targets.
The Benton Community staff and administration are very appreciative of the support for professional development and continued learning for educators.
