Attendance Center Ranking Report to be Released by Iowa Department of Education

The Iowa Department of Education will soon be releasing initial information to the public regarding the Attendance Center Ranking report for school districts and buildings.  The report is designed to provide data on schools based on several required measures including:

• Student Proficiency
• Academic Growth
• Attendance Rates
• Parent Involvement
• Employee Turnover
• Community Activities and Involvement
• Closing Gap Scores
• Graduation Rates
• College Readiness

The initial report will address only student proficiency and academic growth as the criteria and considerations for the other required measures are still being developed.
