Sophia Gilbert Qualifies for State Cross Country Meet

Congratulations to Benton freshman Sophia Gilbert who qualified for the Class 3A state cross country meet by placing 2nd individually at the class 3A qualifying meet at Manchester. Sophia also broke her previous Benton 4K school record by running 14:51.

Sophia will participate in the State XC meet in Fort Dodge on Saturday, November 1st.  Best wishes to Sophia in representing Benton Community!
