The Benton Community School District continues to make plans
to consider a district restructuring proposal for the 2015-16 school year. The Benton Community Board of Education will
consider a proposal of intent at the regular board meeting scheduled for
October 15th at the Atkins Center.
This meeting will be followed by two public hearing opportunities to
learn more about the proposed plan for restructuring on Thursday, October 30th
and again on Wednesday, November 12th. The
public hearings will be held at the MS/HS Auditorium starting at 7:00 p.m. The
Board will follow these public hearing with a work session on Monday, November
17th starting at 6:00 p.m. prior to a decision being considered at
the regular meeting on this same evening.
